The intelligent man is always open to new ideas. In fact, he looks for them

Subject: I OPPOSE senate bill 22 and so much more (open on 4/24/11)

Dear Scott Walker,
I OPPOSE senate bill 22 and so much more. I am really enjoying discovering our commonalities and feel like this will build a foundation of mutual understanding and foster discourse. Again, my source of information is Wikipedia
1.) You graduated from Delavan-Darien High School, and I graduated from Lake Mills High School. Both are small schools enveloped within modest-sized towns.
2.) You attended Marquette, and I graduated from Cardinal Stritch University with both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees. I guess the connection there would be that both universities are private and Catholic. Oops, this one seems more of a connection between the universities. Wait! I’ve got it; we both partook in attending the university experience. Whew, that was a close one, but I knew we’d find the connection. Attending classes, becoming responsible for ourselves and our actions, and developing our purposes in life are aspects that have shaped us.
3.) You were married at 25, and I got married at 23. We knew who we wanted to spend the rest of our lives with and how dedicated to our spouses we would be. Family first J
4.) You lead a motorcycle tour around the state, and I have taken motorcycle tours around the state and across the country. There is something about sitting in a restaurant and asking people about the one thing we have to see before we leave the area. The connections that are made talking with people are there forever and sometimes those conversations develop into friendships.
I am going to leave this letter on the note of conversations developing into friendships. I have read and heard repeatedly that you are a very personable man, and politics aside, rather easy to like. I am not seeking a relationship of friendship, rather conversations about where we go from here. People do not have to like each other to see various perspectives. They do need to work together to collectively make decisions in the best interest of all Wisconsin citizens. It is about representation, and if I am not being represented, I will not elect or re-elect, regardless of how personable the candidate is. I OPPOSE senate bill 22 and so much more.
